MOTHERLESS
DAUGHTERS SELL ICE CREAM! On
the first weekend of May,2010 MDOC was busy selling that delicious Bob’s
Old-Fashioned Ice Cream at the Orange County Marketplace (Swap Meet).
We had a great time not only selling this yummy product, but meeting some
new people. And among the crowd who
came to buy were some motherless daughters, some of whom came to our luncheon
the following weekend. If
you are ever at the Swap Meet, please do stop by the stand and buy some ice
cream because each weekend, Bob’s invites a non-profit organization such as
ours to sell their product and ALL of the money earned the entire weekend goes
to the non-profit! So even if
it wouldn’t be Motherless Daughter of OC inside the booth, you’d be helping
out another charity or non-profit organization.
We can’t thank the OC Marketplace enough for this terrific opportunity
to earn some money to support our organization.
The money we earned will help us in our community outreach efforts to
find and support other motherless daughters in our area.
